The River's Daughter: Reading and Booking Signing with Bridget Crocker

  • Jackson Hole Book Trader 970 West Broadway Jackson, WY, 83001 United States (map)

Join the Snake River Fund and Women in the Tetons at Jackson Hole Book Trader on Sunday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. to welcome author and longtime whitewater guide Bridget Crocker for a reading and conversation about her new memoir, The River's Daughter.

Crocker grew up on the banks of the Snake River right here in Jackson before going on to guide some of the most demanding rivers in the world, from the Zambezi to the Kern. The River's Daughter traces her path from that childhood to becoming one of the few women guiding in a male-dominated field — and the way the rivers she navigated professionally became inseparable from the healing she needed personally.

Crocker will read a short excerpt, followed by a Q&A. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Light refreshments provided. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Free and open to the public. All are welcome!!
