What is the Gear Closet?

The Women in the Tetons Gear Closet is a program that provides women the opportunity to try out a sport without needing to invest in brand new items, thus reducing the barrier for entry. We were recently featured on KHOL 89.1 for this nascent program!

Is the Gear Closet active yet?

While we are actively in the process of sourcing hard and soft goods and getting the program off of the ground, we are not officially active yet. But, if you are looking for gear to rent, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll work together to source something for you.

We expect to launch this program officially with the 2026 Scholarship Season.

Can I donate gear? How do I donate?

Yes! We are currently accepting gear for all activities (think skiing & snowboarding, snowshoeing, mountain biking, climbing, camping/backpacking, kayaking, and rafting).
